there are several eco-friendly practices that we incorporate into the production of our handmade jewelry, while trying to reduce our environmental impact.

we use sustainable materials, opting for materials that are responsibly sourced, such as recycled metals when possible and fair-trade gemstones. currently, we incorporate vintage glass beads into some of our designs. in the future, we would like to work in more vintage and recycled elements into some of our designs.

by using more sustainable materials we can minimize the demand for new mining and extraction processes.

we use organic homemade pickling solutions and plant based polishes as non-toxic alternatives for cleaning, polishing and finishing your jewelry. by doing this we eliminate the release of harmful chemicals into the environment. this protects my health, the health of my family, you the customers.

we practice efficient material usage and minimize waste generation. this is done by carefully planning designs and recycling scrap metal for sample designs when possible.

when possible we support local small business suppliers. if we have to purchase abroad we support small US and european businesses. we hope by doing this we reduce the carbon footprint associated with transportation and shipping.

the hope is that by incorporating these practices in our handcrafted jewelry business we can contribute positively to the environment and promote sustainability in the industry from our little corner of the
